Absolutely gorgeous, nobody does it like Ang Lee.
This is definitely just four or five episodes of the show haphazardly stitched together, but luckily they're pretty decent episodes. This really strays into 80's fantasy, à la Labyrinth or Dark Crystal, at times, and I mean that mostly positively. It shares a lot of the charms of that era of movies while stumbling into the same pitfalls of awkward pacing and empty characterization. Why would you use Leaf Storm on a Venusaur, it's 4x resisted and it lowers your special attack.
