It's a decent framework for an action movie, but seriously lacks meaningful characterization. Gyllenhaall is practically comatose here in comparison to his usual intensity and it's hard to blame him. Sad that I used to think that these projects spiritually belonged to cable and now all I can think is how they'll get slopified into Short Form Video Content™.
