Even though I hate reading subtitles, I LOVED this movie. My only complaint is that I think they used real dead pigeons. Not cool.
I liked this even though I don't think there was nearly enough Irish folklore and witchcraft. It wasn't as scary as I had hoped either, but that was ok. The tension levels were still as high as a goat on mushrooms. There was one thing that really got my interest...that rabbit dude on the TV. That guy was nightmare fuel! Wow, that was something! First of all, I am a new fan of Dolly (the actress)! Her crying scenes were as real as they could possibly be. Did the director actually kill her dog to get that reaction or is she just that good? (She's just that good!) I loved Dolly (the character) until....well, watch and see. I need to give credit to Footage Foreplay Podcast and Only Found Footage Fans. I would have never watched this if it wasn't for them.
I HATED this movie! I hated the subject. I hated the characters. I hated the acting. Most of all, I hate the fact I will never get that 75 minutes of my life back! How can an hour and 15 minutes feel like a 3 hour movie??? If you're even the slightest bit curious, save yourself the time and just watch the last 20ish minutes.
