What a journey! Really tough lives all around.

So many complicated, tense stories intertwining a struggling community. Great ensemble cast. Powerful drama, and a lot of it. Buckle up.

I can't believe I watched a full length movie that is basically just interior shots of phone calls and exterior shots of a toy ant. I liked it, but damn, this is bad lmao

Despite myself, I really liked this movie when viewed through the lens of supernatural folk. Elements of Christ's life via the Apocrypha and silver screen embellishment blend well to create a tale of a young man struggling with his flawed human nature and coming to terms with his supernatural abilities. All overlaid by intrapersonal familial issues and group dynamics. Nick Cage stands out, mostly bc he cannot hide in any role, and the many english-sounding accents of other players...making him more distracting than immersive. The two actors playing the role of the Devil are great, and the device of two faces was really cool.
