I like what Borgli is into in his filmmaking and where he’s willing to go, but compared to Sick of Myself this fell kind of flat? Was looking forward to more. Obvi with Zendaya and Pattinson this feels more mass market and is missing those more transgressive elements. Then again imagery of a young girl planning a *spoiler* is pretty hardcore

always so hard to "heart" movies like this because it was truly so gut wrenching and anxiety inducing and heartbreaking and angering and painful to watch but it was also so powerful and precise and I think there's something interesting to be said about the juxtaposition between all of the kind of camaraderie in the first scenes and how it ends but I'm not sure what......... I think to put it simply it emphasizes how anti abortion doesn't just pit women against men or women against the government etc but women against each other

Also side note never watch a period movie with me I've become incredibly annoying, but did literally guess the exact date of the new period each time based on the clothes.
