Gorgeous beautiful movie!!! And very funny! But omg that post-intermission pacing did not do this movie any favors. Ridiculously slow with jokes only peppered in. I was kind of itching in my seat near the end and I typically like a long slow movie. He really was just a boy on the run though. Thinking about the scope of this movie really makes me itch for adventure and not want to waste my life in luxary
Wow what a fun fucking movie in a crowded theater. Love the cringey scary humor and this movie just really knows what it wants to be. Incredible directing and Inde's performance had my jaw on the floor for most of the movie. Sound design was also top notch, fun bassy synths and crazy screeches. I knew what was going to happen the whole movie, but the way beats were served up was so top notch I could only be amazed and keep having fun. It's strange to say, but this feels like such a modern movie
What a legitimately awe-inspiring, entertaining movie. Just a great time that showcases old idealized entertainment adjusting to the modern world and technology
