Chat, there’s quotations around the title for a reason. The amount of discourse around this is boring AF — like a willful ignoring of the films own admission to a lack of pretense. 

I wonder if everyone shifted even an ounce of their energy with their self-righteous think pieces into IRL class commentary…. But for a mindless 2h 16m I submit to a respite that frankly, every tight arsehole critic might benefit from .

Kind of interesting how the film hinged around a sinfully flawed interpretation of Foucault’s adaptation of the panopticon to deliver its purposefully pesky, ambiguous message. And the audacity to homage Woody Allen, whom in his prime, would have nailed this as its director, with an almost existential duty to deliver a TIMELESS film without the performative righteous undertones or vacuously provocative aestheticization of ideas.
