There’s a certain kind of pre-80’s comedy that leaves me thinking, “So people used to settle for being vaguely-amused as long as it got them out of the house, huh?”
I truly believe everyone when they say Peter Sellers is a genius, but I have to admit I find myself in trying-to-force-myself-to-see-it mode every time I give him a shot. He's good! But I've yet to have my moment with him.
Still, this goes a certain distance just on ‘60s vibes. It just makes me wonder how it became a phenomenon back when “ ‘60s vibes” was just "the present day."
I'm usually against logging TV shows on here, but I'm sure even Scorsese would agree that this is Cinema.
When the credits rolled, the whole theater glanced around like, that was a brisk 3 hours, and also less bomb stuff than we expected given the trailer, but I suppose it was all compelling and yes yes we all agree that Nolan's a genius because we love Film, but also did maybe this movie not make total sense...?
And then the lights shot on and the theater staff came out and explained that they accidentally showed us the first reel…
