Dropping away from the goofy, irrelevant style with meaningless connections in the most recent films. This is a step into the right direction, your hopeless soul maybe seeded with a new ounce of life for marvel. With a tingling sense of indulging into the dark side, with a sparkle of humour to keep you buzzing. Characters that you felt a connection too, ready to pull on heartstrings keeping you in a mist of emotions towards the film. Definitely far from perfect, leaving a handful of questionable doubts to some areas but on the whole it comes off strong and compelling.

The plot twist didn’t make much sense…. How is it possible to move sharks from a to b ? Typical shark film, out the box and whacky but was this too far ? Felt like my life flashed before my eyes and the next thing you know the film is over and nothing happened. It’s a cheap, cheesy bounteous film, that took a gamble of a unique idea that wasn’t well directed. No character development, just brutal deaths just as you would expect. However, the special effect were ok compared to the state of the overall film.

The potential for this to be a great compelling thriller, sadness me. Like tasting your favourite drink, to find a twangy after taste, leaving you disappointed. This clearly isn’t set to be in the real world…. So many questions! There’s maybe 1 or 2 compelling, chilling scenes that amused me but even then it didn’t add up. This film is like wearing odd socks, unable to find the matching pair…. The script was predictable and dryer than a desert.
