More How do you make a long character driven story and have me feel nothing for any of the characters?
This is tarentino slop at its finest, the plot is okay at best, the acting is carried by Samuel L Jackson to an unreasonable degree and the character development is fucking awful!
1.5 hours in and a narrator pops up (voiced by Tarentino) for literally no reason, characters are allowed to monologue in an ensemble cast when there is no narrative…

More What a fucking awsome film!
I knew before watching this that "a fistfull of dollars" was based on this, and I love that Film so wasn't quite expecting this to be even better.
The camera work is stunning and all of the acting is spot on, especially from Mifune. This is the second Kurosawa film Ive seen but holy shit This makes me want to watch sanjuro next.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is certified absolute cinema.
