I have a great appreciation for this film. Love how it addresses human rights issues that are unfortunately all too prevalent right now, and promotes thinking empathetically. I think the discussion Clark/Superman has with Lois at the beginning is so important. This movie terrifies me in a sense, given that state-sponsored violence against activists is by no means just a fictional occurrence. Lex Luthor is also scary as fuck because he's too realistic.
