This line made me tear up and got me thinking, Would my mother say the same thing to me?

Being queer in a conservative country and family is tough, and this film captures that struggle so well. But it also shows a mother's unconditional love for her child. Jiahao is such a good child, even after learning the truth, she still loves her mom unconditionally.

I was smiling at first, and then i couldn't stop crying. They were just kids, and honestly i feel really bad for Mimi. This movie genuinely broke me, but overall i love everything about it.

At first, i was wondering what kind of world they were living in but after watching it, i realized it's not too different from the world we're living in. This short film was beautiful yet painful, no wonder it won an Oscar.
