Some great day-for-night shots. I don’t always mind actually dark cinematography when it’s used well, but this is such a great example of how to shoot scenes so they’re recognizably readable as “nighttime” but the audience can still clearly see what’s going on. The fact that so much of the film taking place in the daytime has a strong warm hue to it means that the cool blue color timing stands out as Different.
