Be kind, please rewind
I’m pretty sure Kieran Cullen is simply being himself at this point. Still, the writing was excellent and it was poignant story as a whole.
This felt like it should’ve been a stage play. I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if it had been that. The transitions between the scenes were jumpy, interactions between the characters seemed contrived (this is more of writing issue). Nevertheless, I will watch anything that Elizabeth Reaser is in. And Pedro Pascal’s character was fun (and apparently quite ... virile lol).
EDIT: Five months later I discovered this was supposed to be a stage play. I think it probably should’ve stayed that way. 😬
