I guess it’s about codependence? I guess it’s about questioning the motives of so-called “nice guys who can’t catch a break?” I know it’s about an hour and 48 minutes and it’s pretty cruel, even by horror movie standards. Inde Navarette is a fearless star, but all the performances are solid, which keeps it from being just a standard shock and gore fest. I am reminded of Companion, which I enjoyed a lot more.
