Been a good month for creepy films with great jumpscares, but this also had so many moments that hit like a punch in the stomach (or a brick to the face)...

Trace Lysette was one of the most memorable people in Transparent and is also fantastic here. Would be great to see her in more stuff.

Also dunno if it was intentional putting the world's most pointless male character in apartment 4B but i enjoyed it nonetheless *chef's kiss*

I felt very detached watching this, it never felt like there were any real stakes or consequences.

Ian McKellen is of course great, but the character is one we've seen before... I have tonnes of respect for Michaela Coel but she was just giving me nothing here and I'm always very upset to be reminded that James Corden exists.

It just didn't sing.

I can both understand why they used the same actors but also at the same time wish they had not.

Leaving all the more obviously mental stuff aside I don't understand why the older sister was even in this, you can pretty much lift her right out and it makes no real difference.

Also Luke Wilson's character knew EXACTLY what he was doing with those grey sweatpants level with the car window...

Had high hopes for this and thought I was being a big brave girl going by myself but turns out my pals were right to shun.

Didn't particularly rate Alana Haim before but that performance made me want to throat-punch her, well done.
