“A love only the branch of a willow tree could conjure.”
Truly brilliant debut, proud to say i was familiar with Curry’s previous shorts from a while back, and this more than lives up to his awaited feature arrival. Relentless, gory and unnerving, Obsession does its job in securing its creators seat at the table amongst the growing list of top talent in this modern age of horror. And in doing so brings some of the most enjoyable and gifted performances…
“Emma, true love is complicated. It’s about acceptance. Radical acceptance.”
The Alica Keys needle drop was special to me. Honestly Emma didn’t do anything wrong in my opinion, she was young. This was so good I spent most of it with my hands over my mouth completely torn between laughing and feeling deeply uncomfortable by the situation. It has that rare ability to push you in two opposite directions at once and it never lets you fully settle into either!!…
AMAZE! AMAZE! AMAZE!
This movie is actually so perfect in every way. The story is amazing and fun, while the emotional moments work very well. The chemistry between Grace and Rocky is perfection, and their journey together couldn’t make a man cry more. Visually, this is eye candy, it’s so damn beautiful, especially on the big screen.
Probably the most fun movie I have seen in a while, and the best cinema experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this enough.
