Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride! feels like a reclamation. 
A love letter to the monstrous-feminine, to the women who were told they were too much, too strange, too loud, too angry. Watching it felt strangely personal—like the movie was made for me. 

It’s empowering in the way that only true horror can be: letting women be complicated, feral, powerful, and fully human all at once. The Bride isn’t just a monster—she’s a mirror, a warning, and a revolution.

This film is one of the best movies I've seen this year. The childhood, Mason had was quite similar to mine. This is just one of the very few films I've seen were I felt so connected to the character.
