Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride! feels like a reclamation.Β 
A love letter to the monstrous-feminine, to the women who were told they were too much, too strange, too loud, too angry. Watching it felt strangely personalβ€”like the movie was made for me.Β 

It’s empowering in the way that only true horror can be: letting women be complicated, feral, powerful, and fully human all at once. The Bride isn’t just a monsterβ€”she’s a mirror, a warning, and a revolution.
