Never before have I rooted for a Harrison Ford character to not only fail, but fail miserably. Every time Allie Fox opened his mouth, I wanted him to slip on a banana peel and fall face-first into manure. Weir’s first choice (Jack Nicholson) would have done brilliantly as well, but I’m glad Ford had the chance to give at least one loathsome performance in his career.
If this doesn't end up in my year-end top 10, I'll be shocked. Need to figure out a way to get my Netflix to stream this 24/7 so we definitely get the final sequel.
Everyone involved — Nia DaCosta, Ralph Fiennes, Alex Garland, Jack O'Connell, Danny Boyle, Chi Lewis-Parry, Iron fuckin' Maiden — deserves their flowers.
An extra half-star for the sheer number of times Michael Douglas says the word "Ants."
