While I can’t really access the emotions or experiences of this one, it’s supremely well crafted watch that weighs on one. There’s a haunting stillness to what is, in effect, a ghost story of sorts. The performances press precisely and intently on the boundaries of interiority, never quite breaking through but willing the viewer to fill in the blanks. It’s utterly agonising as the revelations never quite articulated in full hang in the air for all to see but not for all to address or resolve.
Feel a bit sick after this.
