Just got flashbanged by the new Quinton Reviews Grumpy Cat video and had an entire flashback to me watching this on Netflix on my Nintendo Wii in my family's basement in 2015. This film plus Strong World makes Film Z look way worse by sheer comparison. This movie is loud, absurd, bombastic, and so over the top that it feels like being at a fair. The setting is so loud even compared to the other places in the One Piece world that it is worth watching just cause of that. Wonderfully animated with an immaculate vibe. I enjoy the entire cast of characters. They each have something interesting to add and I enjoyed their whole dynamic so much. Also the whole retro-futuristic vibe alongside using CGI is a very fun mix of styles. Like the old 60s title cards and 70s styled captioning is a rather interesting presentation decision

This is probably the most stylistic One Piece has ever looked. Love this very smooth style and wonderful framing. Also why is Sanji dressed like Shrek? Also the One Piece anime takes like 1000 episodes for it to be this eldritch
