Literally why

This movie is a fuckin no-holds-barred anxiety attack, and I love it a lot. Definitely divisive due to the subject matter and Noe's style of filmmaking. This film dives into the deepest, darkest, and most vile parts of the psyche, and is unapologetic in its portrayal of sexual violence and vengeful anger. Irreversible isn't an easy watch, but an important one.
