I’m convinced - if you really enjoy a tarkovsky movie - you just enjoy watching nothing occur and pondering life here n there. Which I admit - I do from time to time. 

This movie did a great job of doing nothing. Dr. Sartorius summed it up best “you spend all day lounging in a bed of noble thoughts - and that’s how you carry out your duty”.

Modern day man - just - first love isn’t the cousin (usually)

Feel like I missed something - or was I supposed to just watch nothing getting solved - with some slight comedic relief - and wait the whole movie just for the last line. Maybe I’ll watch again later.
