The world is a wasteland.

Depression is a terrible sickness. It’s addictive. It infects the very things that caused it in the first place; the ones we love, the things we care about, the places we grew up…and worst of all, most of the time you hardly even notice it’s there. An Elephant Sitting Still is the most deadly accurate and deeply affecting cinematic portrayal of depression ever put to screen, a timeless masterpiece of human nature.

I’ve been struggling…

I’m gonna use this as means to a review of the entire show, not just this “miniseries” (which isn’t a separate series in itself, just a more serialized group of 10 episodes to tell one story within the series). Anyway, here I go.

Made me appreciate part one a lot more. Now that the dust has settled a bit and I’ve stopped seeing Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo’s strange antics all over social media- I could actually experience this without a psychological bias, and overall Jon M. Chu’s film rendition of Wicked is really not bad! Once again, this is the opposite of “my kind of film”, and I could spend all day talking about everything I disliked about it- but the craft is decently…

Final Space has been canceled after 3 seasons. Not particularly the news I wanted to wake up to today, but here we are. I can’t put into words how amazing this show is, weaving comedy, adventure, action, and sci-fi into a beautiful & heartbreaking story about loss, togetherness, righteousness and friendship.
