Bewildered by this movie because it is completely unlike how it was marketed. I thought this was going to be an interesting story that was pretty funny and silly. It was like a heartfelt tragic drama about family and materialism that had almost no comedy in it at all. It looked beautiful shot on film and it was emotional and moving and I am still so shook that the trailer made it seem like this was supposed to be wacky stranger than fiction slapstick comedy. Good movie just don’t go in expecting a lighthearted comedy!!!

Just was so disappointing. Like they had such an awesome opportunity with great cast, plot, and director and it just ended up being this milquetoast bland uninspired movie. They build up these awesome insane relatives and then give them each like 3 min of screen time and the most boring deaths ever. Comedy was like all “awkward” type of moments and it was just awkward and not funny at all. Had an all time opportunity and just blew it.

Yorgos Lanthimos, Emma Stone, and Jesse Plemons are all at their peak here. Such a tragic, funny, and relevant movie for 2025. Surprised by how emotionally moved I was by a lot of it. Some really awesome visuals which looked amazing on vistavision. Aidan Deblis was incredible and I hope to see him in more movies soon. Stavros was hilarious as expected. Extremely well written script. Loved it. Absolutely go watch this one in theaters.
