Didn't expect this to be one of the funniest movies I seen in a while. One of the most creatively edited ones too, the constant cross-cutting to an entirely separate movie in parallel is insane. Also manages to cover a whole lot when it comes to the satirical side of things, it's aggressively mundane in the best way possible. Great sign for a movie to be reminding me of Brother 2 (2000) all the way through. Eastern European spitefulness at its most raw.
I don't care about comic book accuracy, frankly I don't even think it matters who directed this. The main issue here is that the movie's message about "staying true to yourself, no matter what anyone says" is hilariously hypocritical.
