Well, talk about all style and no substance. The Safdie brothers’ previous films have all ridden that thin line, but this is what happens when it's crossed. Typically the entertainment value is high enough, along with the ‘hipster-plus' styling, that I have enjoyed their past projects. In this case, I’m not sure what I could have grasped onto to enjoy the ride. It was more of a bumpy drag from disconnected set-piece to the next, with loosely carved parallel narratives…
