jon favreau will pay for his crimes someday.
giving this an extremely generous 3 stars for the following reasons:
• i recently gave ‘get him to the greek’ 3 stars
• i am but a human being and unfortunately not immune to grogu’s obscene cuteness, the way that puppet moves sometimes simply delights me
• soundtrack kinda slaps, especially that one track, everybody knows the one i mean
• hits on certain genre pastiches that i adore (retrofuturist neo-tokyo adjacent…
love twiggy sm and it was interesting to learn more about her life and career! but as a film it's a bit all over the place and tonally inconsistent, prioritising accessibility over deeper analysis and filmmaking; sort of the docu equivalent of her wikipedia page
