in tears rewatching this. I rarely rewatch films i give 5 stars to save that emotional impact in case my opinion changes.

a beautiful film showcasing the ethical implications of cloning and human identity. The end of the movie forces you to sit with the question, “what does it mean to be human?” maybe it’s the ability to love, to remember, or the ability to feel. 

So so so underrated, dare i say denis’ best film and a beautiful love letter to one of the most iconic cyber punk movies.
