legolasicontest, an icon challenge and graphics community dedicated to Legolas, the character known from JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson's movies.

In addition to entering the icontest (see separate rules below), all community members may post:

icons and other graphics featuring Legolas or Orlando Bloom

suggestions for Legolas icons and other graphics

informal icon and graphics challenges.

Multi-fandom posts are allowed provided Legolas is the main subject of the post.

Please place more than 3 icons under a cut.

Follow all rules set by the poster. If they ask for comments when taking, comment; if they ask for credit when using, credit. No flaming!

Icontest details

RULES

All entries must fit livejournal standards (100x100, under 40kb, .jpg, .gif or .png).

Any effects are allowed.

Entries must be submitted by the deadline.

Absolutely no stealing!

You must not post any icons you've submitted here elsewhere until the winners have been announced.

You must follow the rules in each individual contest.

ICONTEST TIMELINE
Challenges occur every two weeks.
Challenge begins/ends: Friday [week A] - Friday [week C].
Voting period: Saturday [week D] - Sunday [week D].
Winners Announced: Monday [week E].

SUBMISSIONS

You must be a member of the community to submit icons.

For every challenge, there will be an entry CHALLENGE #n.

To submit icons, leave a comment to the challenge entry with the icon and its url.

All comments will be screened.

Upload your icons to a host that allows direct-linking, for example to photobucket.com.

Submit your icons in the following format:

VOTING

For every challenge, there will be an entry CHALLENGE #n: VOTING.

To submit votes, leave a comment to the voting entry.

All comments will be screened.

Do not vote for yourself.

Submit your votes by commenting with the numbers of the three icons you like best, listing them in order of preference, favourite first.
