So, this past summer, I kinda dropped the ball on Hope, mostly because I was doing summer classes and go very very side-tracked.
Now, I'm making up for it! I'll be accepting nominations for Hope For The World Fanfiction Awards until Wednesday, December 10th at 11:59pm RMT.

Nomination Rules: 1) You cannot nominate your own fic. 2) You may only nominate one fic for every category. 3) All fics must be accompanied by a link to the fic. If a fic is nominated without a link to it, that nomination will be discarded. 4) All fics must have been published or updated within the last two years. Well, its a new year and ya'll know what that means--the announcement of the winners of the second annual New Years PR Music Video Awards!
The voting this year was fairly close--half of them were in dead heats up till today and three were still tied today. As the mod, I had the breaking vote but it was fairly hard---I liked all the videos nominated.
Additionally, everyone who voted said yes to continuing next year--thanks for the feedback!
As all of you know, I make banners for the winners. This year, instead of doing banners for first, second, and third, I only did first place--the banners take up a lot of time and half of the winners don't even use them, that I know of. Plus this way I was able to kinda sorta customize each banner. Below are the winners banners as well as the standard I-was-nominated-and-all-I-got-was-this-little-banner...er...banner. :)
Well, in addition to the Fanfiction Awards, every year around this time, I run the New Years Music Video Awards (NYMVA's) where the best of the best in Power Ranger Music Video's are nominated and voted upon.
Nominations begin today, October 23rd and end November 30th at 11:59pm RMT (1:59pm EST).
Voting begins December 1st and ends on New Years Eve at 11:59pm.
A total of 4 nominees for each category will be accepted. If more than four videos are nominated, then the videos with the most nominations will be accepted.

Any video maker has the right to email me and tell me they do not wish to be nominated and I will yoink them from the nominee list. 4) All videos must be hosted on YouTube or a similar website--Veoh.com is a prime example of an alternate to YouTube. My 15 year old sister has been having some major health issues (she recently had a double lung transplant) and I will be offline for the majority of the weekend. While I want to say this won't affect the announcing of the winners of Hope on September 2nd, it might.
Hey guys! I have an update here for anyone interested (which, you know, if you want to get technical, should be everyone nominated). :)
Voting polls are up and waiting votes! Please vote in every category. You can only vote once! I don't really care if you vote for youself cause I'm not gonna be able to tell if you did.
Also, the final question is an opinion poll. Next year, instead of having the MMPR-PRJF (JF being next seasons title), should we have more overall categories such as Best Slash, Best Femslash, Best Kiss, Best NC-17 Fic,Best In Character Fic, etc? I'm considering this because every year, without fail, I have issues getting nominees for MMPR-PRLG (& WF). Case in point; Dagmar Buse, who is an awesome author, is the/a writer of 3 out the 5 MMPR fics nominated. And several others were double nominated in categories too. So let me know what you think. Should we keep it as it is (with MMPR-PRJF) or come up with more over-arching categories?
