002; after the murder dust settles
Text
Soooo, death tolls stuck, and I hate it.
Because I'm bored. So, boys, girls, non binaries and in-betweens, question for you:
What do YOU do when you're too ill to move around much? Especially when you know someone will sit on you if you try to push.
Sorry boss. I'm not going to be able to come into work this week. Death toll. Let me know if I can help out from my cabin. I'm in 213, if you need me for prep stuff.
Sokie is a restless type, and would love to go out and do things. And normally she does.Especially after the confusing breach and all. But she's in John's cabin instead, and she's cleared with him that it's okay for people to come by.
So she's in her pyjamas (which can either be full pyjamas of various colours or a variant of John's tank top and boxers) bundled up, either in the frontal kitchen, sitting at the counter and longingly looking at the kitchen, in the conversation pit with a book or a magazine, or fiddling with her phone to project music from various eras and regions. She's clearly shaky (though it gets better throughout the week) and restless. She's not someone who handles being put on bed rest well.

Private to Archer;

If I'm not allowed to move, we can both suffer a little. I'm afraid I can be petty.
Re: private
Remind me to avoid you if you're death tolling.

"Comfy?"
Re: spam
Normally she would be gently amused by all of this, but well...they had a surprising amount of company as of late.
"But are you doing okay John? I might be death tolling, but you had to...find me. Like that."
Dead and on display.

What did Mrs Nagles like you to sing? Maybe I know the songs.

No, I'm not going to do that. They're well-meaning, and they need the security.

[She sounds grouchy. But a good kind of grouchy?]
Uh...no? Why would anyone bring me soup? No one has to bring me anything?

Wish I could say it was all useful innovations, but when I'm sick it tends to be all traps and weapons.

You know we don't always have to be useful and benign all the time Fred.

...and also he called Vincent Valentine 'dad' by accident ten minutes ago so he has to. Not. Be there. Wherever 'the possibility of accidentally doing it again' is, that's there. John's cabin, and therefore Sokie, is not there.
Hence: a black wolf undignifiedly flops into the conversation pit right next to Sokie Undertown.
Re: Spam
"Ash darling. I thought you'd come over as a cat, not a wolf." She scratched behind their ears. "Nice flop. Very dramatic."

What's your cabin like?

It's actually pretty great, but that's because it's John's originally. Got a workshop and a kitchen and many soft things.
My original one is more storage now.

It's just Sokie. She's seen her in worse.
"Were you asleep?" she murmurs.
no subject
The clothing didn't matter. Sokie was in a spare tank and boxers of John's as it was.
"Not really." She murmured. "Thinking. How are you?"

Re: Spam!
Feeling his warmth, she turns to nestle up to him, her eyes closed. Offering him trust.
Though funny enough she murmurs, "You don't have to do this Arthur."
Funny, since she does seem to enjoy reassurance and close contact.
