Their monthly coffee chats are only just starting to become not as awkward when one Tuesday afternoon, Dudley relaxes against the back of the booth in his well-tailored suit and says, "is it true that wizards can tell the future?"

"At this point, I'm not sure either way," Harry says, because he's really not.

Dudley hmms. Harry wouldn't have expected him to become a- a- stockbroker or whatever he is, but he has to admit, it suits Dudley the way basically nothing has suited Dudley since he was happy being the neighborhood bully. Harry'd watched Dudley try on one ill-fitting future after another in and after university, until somehow he'd ended up -- doing whatever it is Dudley does all day. Harry thinks it involves computers. He knows it involves moving a lot of money around, because Harry gave Dudley some last year to invest and Dudley gave back a lot more than Harry'd expected.

"And I didn't do too well in that class," Harry says, because he doesn't need to be a Divinations professor to see where this is going.

"But I bet you know someone who did," Dudley says. "Why not let's try it out? Let's make some money."
