Well, my candidate of choice did not win. There wasn't much chance he would have. But there's one thing that I absolutely loved about this past election.

No matter where any of us stood on the candidates or the issues, people got involved, people got excited, and I hope we don't lose that.

I hope we can all stay interested. Keep looking, keep listening, keep staying informed, and above all, keep paying attention to how our leaders plan on leading.

On a slightly related note: With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching I recommend everyone do a little research into the story of the founding of the Plymouth Colony, and the events that lead up to the first thanksgiving. It will probably surprise you.

On an interesting note. NBC archives all of the Saturday Night Live episodes on it's website. But they pulled this one down. Now why would such a large broadcasting company, with a history of unbiased journalism and integrity driven reporting, remove this particular skit, out of all the SNL episodes in their archive, from their website?
