"Don't worry." I told myself "Yeah, so you slacked off a bit early on this month. The schedule's a little tight, but you've pulled off worse. You can still make it down to Atlanta in time."
Then, the toothache. Piercing agony so sharp that, even with self medication, I toss and turn for a couple of hours each night, and wake up far later than is productive due to aforementioned self medication.
No problem. Christmas with family in Richmond, then finish off the last of my work and then I'll be done. DONE. 4 EVAR!
I left my apartment today to find the passenger side window of my truck smashed in and my backpack taken. My backpack, which contained my work ID, my airport security ID, some mildly sensitive work related paperwork, about three months worth of work related receipts (I'll miss those dearly come April 15th), and MY WORK KEYS!!!
$247.00, a new window, and a police report later, and I'm two days further away from getting down to Atl to see my family, enjoy part of the holidays with my friends, and get this damn tooth taken care of.
*sigh*
Well, I guess I'll have some time to clean the apartment some. Get things ready for The Move, while I'm waiting for a new set of keys to arrive. Should get here Monday morning.
*headdesk* Perhaps the universe is telling me something.
It's snowing. I love snow. I think it's beautiful to look at, and fun to play in. It is not, however, fun to drive in. This is my ..... fourth (fifth?) snow since I moved up here and I've started determining the road conditions for the city by how many accidents occur within line of sight of my apartment balcony.
Aparrently the transformation from a whiny brat into a bad-ass takes exactly two and a half years, Sora needs to die in a fire, and I really need to learn to play Shogi.
