Favorite Villain of 2009: ...Well, you can MAKE Hitoshura evil? And Churuya-san if she can count, nyoro~n.
Favorite Video Game Character of 2009: Hitoshura aka Demi-fiend from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne! I don't know why, he's the coolest game guy in just shorts and sneaks.
Favorite Game of 2009: Crap there was a LOT... I guess Persona 4?
Favorite Het Couple of 2009: Beato/Battler and like last year's pairing, THE WOMAN TOPS, O YEAH
Favorite Yuri Couple of 2009: Chat/Patty (Tales crossover that actually hasn't happened yet lol). MAKE IT HAPPEN, BAMCO.
Favorite Yaoi Couple of 2009: Ack, I can't decide between Hitoshura/Raidou from Nocturne and 589 from Dissidia! Well, since the last is a TRIO, maybe the former? I still want a doujinshi plox
Fandom That You Never Expected To Get Into: Well I'm not into too many things that aren't video games, so Umineko no Naku Koro ni? It's a sort-of-game-turned-manga-and-anime, though. Maybe I'll actually PLAY the visual novels instead of reading about them, if I can get them to work on my computer. (I can has it running on a Mac?)
Fandom That Made An Unexpected Comeback: The Tales series is NEVER unexpected, but I got really obsessed with it there again. Argh I just need to beat the final dungeon in Tales of Phantasia PS1! AND GIVE ME PATTY OR GIVE ME DEATH
Fandom That Inspired The Most Crack: Not from me, but Persona 4, definitely. fffffff

...Wow, a lot of anime results this year. And I barely even talk about that stuff in my journal. BUT YES I HAVE AN ANIME OTAKU SIDE TOO YOU KNOW.

- Finish at least this one degree in college if not going further (one semester left!)
- Apply for an internship/job somewhere, maybe, hopefully
- Learn more lifeskills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, you know, the basics)
- Learn at least some more Hiragana
- watch more anime??? (there's a lot I want to watch though)
- Be happier, more relaxed. screw age, don't have to be an "adult" yet
- GET THE GOOD ENDING IN SUIKODEN V

With that out of the way, I've been playing Final Fantasy 6 Advance since I got it for Christmas. Amazing how easy everything in the game seems now, when I died at like every boss battle when I first played it when I was ten. Ahh, Celes and Locke, you were the first game couple I ever cared about. Milestones, people.

Dear Tales of Symphonia OVA,

I KNEW you were going to pull something like that. There was no way you could've fit the whole second half of the game in one episode. Now GIVE US RELEASE DATES OF THE OTHER FOUR EPISODES.
