Hello!
I need some help finding a fic that I read ages ago (back when Dirty Pretty Things were a thing). It was about DPT, mostly - I'm pretty sure it was around Didz/Stan.
There was a dramatic story about why Didz left The Cooper Temple Clause - he and Ben were lovers, and Ben did something bad to Didz, so he left. While the story is told, TCTC released their last album, and there were scenes of Didz listening to the CD by himself, with lots of lyrics quotes - "why did you trust me with your heart?" - and it was very emotional. There was also this cute thing, that TCTC band members all called each other "Cooper". Please help me find this! :) Thank you ladies!

Help Haiti, Get Some Fic, Yo

Hi all! Long time no post from me. I currently am participating in help_haiti. I wrote in Libs and DPT bandom many moons ago; you might (or might not) recall Associate Beneifts (Libs AU; Pete and Carl work retail), Drowning Me Sorrows (Carl has an early midlife crises and names his uh, manhood) and Afterwords . . . (PetenCarlnDelaneyMasions OT3, I guess).

Author's Notes: so, well, this is my first real fic, so con-crit would be amazing. and also, i'm still trying to think of a title, so help would be very much appreciated. OH and i have crappy self esteem, so please comment, even if it's just to tell me you've read. and also to tell me whether you think i should continue, since i have doubts if my writing is good enough to continue.
as a side note, i base all manic depressive experiences on my own disorder, so do not expect this to apply to all, or even any other bipolars.

Okay, I don't know if you all have seen this article, but, uh, basically it's Carl and Didz talking about slash, and how they're flattered to be part of it (really!) and, uh, I just have one question... why hasn't someone written "Carl Slays Dragon" yet? Come on guys, you can even make it suitable for this community by putting some porn in it... uh, not Carl/dragon, obviously, but we can have knight!Carl get all hot and bothered by squire!Stan or something... y/y?

And if nobody wants to write it, I've done it in pictures. I got a bit carried away as well, it's something like 13 pictures long.

Right then. Hullabaloo over, community back to normal.

But just as friendly advice, and to cover our arses, drugs are bad, kids, and your loving knees_up mods totally don't endorse their use, 'k? We only write about drugs and gayness to understand them and the deep deep emotional pain they cause, or something. So please don't go 'round thinking we're a bunch of amoral heathens.

So there. Carry on posting as if nothing had happened. Or perhaps, rather, start posting as if something had happened. No one has yet written about DPT in tight chain mail slaying dragons, and we know for a fact Carl actually wants to read about that.

Alright, then. Given that good old LJ is suddenly a dangerous place for lolz people like ourselves, I'm being all modly (bet you didn't know you had a third mod, did ya?), have changed the user info (weep, children, weep - tho it has been backed up) and backed up the comm itself in a supersekrit locale not even your other two trusty mods know about, because silent and underhanded is totally my style.

Once we all recover from the current bout of, er, overzealousness plaguing the internet, things should go back to normal around here. In the meantime, consider the implications of all this brouhaha on oak trees and write fic about it.

You know DPT would, especially if they could also write about forget-me-nots at the same time.

Bonus points if you can do it all in cat macros.
