Stolen from [profile] xo_kizzy_xo - a brilliant warm up to the readathon tomorrow :)

1. What was the last book you read completely?
Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. Just finished that last night.

2. How often do you read?
At least a little every day. I can't remember when I last went through a day not reading at ALL, but it might not be more than a few pages before going to sleep. I haven't been reading as much lately as I usually do (mostly due to not commuting, so my 1hr reading time a day has been exchanged for other things), but still manage to get some in every day.

3. What is your favourite genre to read?
Probably fantasy, although it varies. I also LOVE travelogues.

4. What is your favourite book of all time?
I can maybe boil it down to my favourite book of this year, or a top ten of all time, but my FAVOURITE book of all time? Nope, not gonna happen.

5. What is your least favourite book of all time?
Again, I couldn't pick just one. I have several I have rated 1 star or less on goodreads, but I've disliked them for different reasons, so couldn't say which one is my _least_ least favourite. Besides, I'd feel like it ought to be one that was decidedly a BAD novel and not just one that wasn't to my taste.

6. Who is your favourite author?
It changes constantly, but currently I tend to pick up everything Audrey Faye has written, as soon as it's out. Other much-loved authors include Tamora Pierce, Mira Grant/Seanan McGuire, TJ. Klune, Stephen King, Nora Roberts and Neta Jackson

7. What author is overhyped?
E.L. James.

8. Do you prefer audio, physical, or an e-reader?
They all have their uses and I'd hate to have to do without any of them, but all else being equal, I do prefer physical books.

9. Hardback or paperback?
Don't care. I'm not a fan of the HUGE hardbacks or the tiny paperback though. But anything inbetween :D

10. Bookmarks or dogears?
Bookmarks!!! If you dog-ear my book, I'll never loan you another one X-D Do whatever you want with your own books, but don't dog-ear mine.

... although usually I just use scraps of paper or whatever random thing I have lying around.

11. Where is your favourite place to read?
Summertime: in my hammock in the garden :-D
All year around: Our still-sorta-new comfy chair. It's a chair worthy of the name :-D

12. How do you arrange your books on your shelves?
Non-fiction by topic and then by author (not quite by the Dewey decimal system though ;) ). Fiction by author and then by title (although books in a series go together).

13. What is the longest book you ever read?
A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. A whooping 1474 pages!!! Not really worth it, but I don't regret spending my time on it either.

14. How many books do you want to read in 2020?
I set my goal for 140 at the beginning of the year... and then Corona happened, and my reading habits went out the window :-P Right now I think I'll be happy to just make it to 120.

15. How many books have you read so far in 2020?
Bitten was no. 33 :-)
