The Khemar Cooperative Writing Project

Anyone else still out there? I mean we're 10+ years removed from the last posts, but I'm a bit curious.

Has anyone interest in reviving?

I'm just putting a few feelers out there to see if people are interested in a Khemar party on the 23rd of Dec. The last few have had only a few people show up so I'm trying to see what the group consensus is. It also helps if we have numbers so that we can plan food and the like. :)

Having observed that there were exactly zero posts in the entire month of November, I am no longer going to wait for you lot. If I have something to post; if I have a story to tell, I'm just going to post. If I end up leaving you days behind, well... so be it.

I have been refraining from proceeding deeper into the second Senatus due to a desire to let anyone else who has business that morning to post. However, I am become impatient. Is anyone actually working on anything for morning, two Senatus at this time?

On the 6th I announced I was taking a short break from Khemar, and more recently I've been giving it considerably more thought. I've decided to take an indefinite break from the Project. I am beginning to feel the early stages of burnout and I don't want to go there.

As things stand, I have no blood for Khemar, and my other creative outlets are proving more fulfilling and just more fun. Between the Hogwarts game on Sundays, the Serenity fics I'm working on and trying to prep for NaNo (which starts on 1 November and I've barely started preparation), not to mention an increasingly busy "real" life, I just don't have the creative fuel or hours in the day to continue to write Khemar right now.

In my absence, ash_blackwell and nicodeamos have the reins. I have absolute confidence in the both of them, and currently they both have a much better handle on the Project than I do. If there's some big problem or question that arises that they can't answer (and that would have to be one hell of a question) you all know my e-mail/IM (and if you don't, it's in my profile). :)

I haven't said it recently, and it should be said more often: you guys are fantastic and I'm incredibly lucky to be working with you. Keep the home fires burning.

Speaking of the Khemar party in the previous post, just a reminder it's coming up on Friday again. I have heard from hamner and nicodeamos that both are coming, as nicodeamos's game has been moved to Saturday morning this week. I need a head count so I know how many I'm trying to feed. I'm going to try doing as much of the prep work for my buffet-style nachoes as possible /before/ the party so I have a chance of getting some actual typing done before work. I'll call Brian and Trina later today (once the phone company fixes the damned lines they convenently didn't mark for the gas company). avilina? taranos? domnall? cinnamonspider? Yay or nay?

Anyone thought about what the sky looks like, outside the Delvings? What stars are used for navigation? What planets are visible? The moon(s) visible appearance?

Just a quick reminder that there is a khemar party on Friday the 14th. I know there aren't that many people that can make it but for those of you that can't we have dinner planned at sundaygames which is being held at our place this week.
