Sailor Jupiter! You have to have Guts!

Olympus E 420

This is going to be my new camera. (I've said it before but I finely decided to actually get it)

An honest to God digital SLR. No more point and shoots for me gosh darn-it; I want to go into the Big Leagues! Sure, it's not as fancy as a higher end Canon or Nikon but I'm taking baby steps here. It shoots in RAW, 10 megapixel, nifty functions and features, is compatible with wireless flashes (!!!)There's even an adapter so I can use nice expensive Nikkor lenses but I'll probably just use the kit lens for a bit and then the Zuiko lenses or Opteka instead of spending too much cash.

The kit lens is deemed pretty good for a kit and has a nice rotating auto focusing feature. I really want a telephoto lens and I found some decently priced ones that will be compatible for the e-420.

I'm really excited about the possibility of off camera flashes and remote triggers for those flashes. Super cool!

With kit lens the camera runs around 500 and can go as cheap as 350. This makes it all the more attractive. Plus it's small and very portable and that's what I really want right now. So I am not focused on how to obtain the funds for this camera since I would really like it by October (Halloween to be more specific) Sure, getting 400 bucks might not seem such a big task but I'm a fucking server in a recession and my boyfriend is a freelance writer we ain't exactly rollin' in the dough. So I'm thinking about books of poetry or small short story collections sold on the cheap, one shot comics sold on the cheap, and other miscellaneous artwork to help finance my purchasing of the camera.

To The People That Can Actually Draw

I CAN'T DRAW HATS ON HEADS AND IT'S GETTING ME ALL FRUSTRATED!

Dammit, I'm trying to draw a plague doctor; I've drawn one already without a hat but I want to draw one with a hat. How the hell do you draw hats on heads. I've been studying pictures closely but still can not do it where it looks good.

Anyone have any tips?
