I FUCKING HATE YOU CBC, DIE IN A FIRE. I SPENT SO MUCH DAMN TIME REFRESHING YOUR GOD DAMN WEBSITE ONLY TO BE DENIED TICKETS.
We're standing at the stand-by desk liek whoa, and we're on the waitlist. I will see the Barrowman if it's the last thing I do. >:O
Anyways, work today went a lot better than that. It was basically an orientation for the program, plus we interviewed the chillruns. It was amusing because these kids are like 14 and some of the questions were pretty tough. They basically got accepted as long as they didn't cuss or fall asleep. 3 people didn't show up though, so we're looking at 14 people(unless the Rochester Works people give us more). All of them were girls except 1, the total opposite of RIT. I met my counterpart, Monique, and we got along really well :) I am excited.
EDIT: Just watched the new clip from The Stolen Earth. FOREHEAD KISSES!!!!111 XD Is it Saturday yet?

They FINALLY updated the Maria site, a week after they told me they would. Of course now it will become a game of refreshing my email until we *hopefully* get a confirmation. This is going to drive me mad. I will be SO pissed if we don't get them.
I spent about an hour today fighting proxy servers to be able to see Blue Peter on the BBC iPlayer[they had a small bit of footage from Journey's End], only to easily find the video I was looking for on Blogtor Who. Oi.
I hit up Walmart after work. I was wearing my Obama shirt, and one of the workers shouted "OBAMA OR DIE" at me. heh. Oh, and I ran into my new boss! I saw her at the cash registers, too. While it took me about 30 seconds to get through the self check-out, I ended up standing around for 15 minutes because none of the cashiers knew how to replace the receipt paper. x__X; Total failure.
Then I went to Arby's for food because I was tired and hungry. When I got home I found out Eugene wasn't coming tonight :( I guess that's for the best though, I have to wake up early tomorrow for work[6:30am, yikes].
I've been making a list of all the crap going on this summer, and I thought I would update on the list I have so far:

A VERY HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO ONE STEFANIE ROSE DESANTIS <3 I'm sorry I couldn't be there :(
I'm halfway through doing inventory at work and decided to take a break. I've already dug through the file cabinet downstairs, throwing away a massive stack of papers. Then I tore through the paper cabinet, which was a huge mess. Had to check shelf reading for last week, and only one person did it -__-;; *stabs underlings*
Still have 2 people to get ahold of for the CS summer camp. *stabs them as well*
Annnd the CBC is still on my death list, because the site still isn't updated. I hope they rot, it's been a week now since they told me it would be up. Polaris 22 hasn't updated the guest schedules yet either, which is annoying me because I would like to work out what we're doing outside of the con. We have to get our tickets for Medieval Times too... does that normally sell out in advance? Anywho, 18 days until that epic adventure.
I know this week is going to go by disgustingly slow, and it's going to make me weep.

Harry Potter re-read started today, yay. This brings me up to three books I'm currently reading, plus I have to work through 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens' for my new job. It's cool though. I'm halfway through the 2nd Percy Jackson book. Can't wait to finish. Hope the 4th book is out in paperback soon though, I might have to go chill at Borders or B&N to read the hardcover.
I feel blah, I should really be in bed. Peace.

We can find other free/cheap things to do as the dates get closer. So yeah, I need to hear back from you guys ASAP so we still have the hotel deal and can get the Polaris22 tickets squared away. We also have to deal with the fact we won't be done until late Sunday, and Katie and Kassie live several hours away from Rochester...
