To mark this 25th anniversary, a special partnership with the Gairdner Foundation will allow us to host 14 internationally renowned scientists, including Dr. Paul Negulescu (2025 Gairdner Award), Dr. Ruedi Aebersold (2024 Heineken Prize), and Dr. Jeffery Kelly (2023 Wolf Prize and 2022 Breakthrough Prize).
This symposium will be a unique opportunity to attend high-quality scientific presentations highlighting the diversity of expertise and research themes pursued by internationally recognized researchers, including more than 10 PROTEO investigators.

Protein stability is important in numerous disciplines, ranging from fundamental and applied protein biophysics to basic and medical biochemistry to pharmaceutical sciences. However, it is rare that researchers from all of the relevant areas can join together to discuss the critical issues in the field in a more relaxed setting. Since 1994, Colorado Protein Stability Conferences have provided unique opportunities for this exchange of information. The topics that will be covered during 2026 Conference include: protein structure, thermodynamic stability, folding, and dynamics; stability of viral vectors; protein aggregation; engineering protein therapeutics; protein-excipient interactions; characterization of protein particles and new advances in processing of therapeutic proteins.
The scientific sessions will consist of plenary lectures by leading researchers from both academia and pharmaceutical industry. In addition, contributed papers will be presented during a half-day poster session with ample opportunities for young investigators to network and discuss their research. To foster exchange of information, attendance will be limited to the first 200 registrants.

The Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies (FACSS) has organized an international conference at the forefront of analytical chemistry and allied sciences since 1974. In 2011, this conference was renamed to the SciX Conference presented by FACSS with the tagline "The Great Scientific Exchange." The SciX conference continues to grow because it is highly valued by attendees for its technical program, world-class exhibits, and many career-building networking opportunities.
