Haha I can't believe I didn't think of that tagline, I might have to steal it!

Thanks for the feedback! I actually did add a slight 'herding force' to try and keep the sheep together but I agree that I didn't make it strong enough to be that noticeable. Moving by clicking is something I didn't consider but is a good suggestion.

Thanks, I appreciate the effort of recording a video, that's a very useful form of feedback! And yeah I had plans for more items and stuff but inevitably I ran out of time.

Very funny! (I also found some text I wasn't supposed to see haha)

Really great visual presentation, with a nice colour palette and use of bloom. I liked the short and sweet tutorial levels and how the text was part of the world. I did find it surprising that the hammer attacks in the direction the player is facing, rather than the direction of the mouse (since the mouse button is used to attack). I also wasn't sure what the pylons did, if anything.

(1 edit)

Impressively fun and fluid character controller! Though mapping Ctrl to dive doesn't really work in the browser, as I kept accidentally closing the tab (Ctrl+W). Other than that it ran perfectly for me on firefox

Pretty satisfying gameplay loop! One bug I ran in to is that the 'play music' button in the settings never stops playing music, so I played my first round with tranquil music, only to later realise it was supposed to be sinister lol

Oh hey, another game about counting sheep! It's a pretty unique game concept and was fun to play. My high score was 26. Also the splash screen made me laugh.

Very nice pixel art!

It took me a while to figure out how to play as I completely missed the 'weapons' button my first couple rounds haha. Also unless I'm misunderstanding buying a weapon seemed to take more chips than it said it would, meaning my balance went negative. I also ran into a couple UI scaling issues, but going in and out of fullscreen seemed to fix it.

Oh hey, another ant-based game!

The POV camera angle really cracked me up, and the names were funny too. One suggestion I have would be to allow re-rolling the shop after a race, as I found myself with a lot of money but not much to spend it on. Only bug I saw was that sometimes the ants would run out of bounds.

I got stuck on the level with the teleporting blue block. Is it possible?

Absolutely love the music. Kind of reminds me of Stardew Valley and Terraria. Took me a couple turns to figure out how the game worked, but once it clicked it was quite satisfying and fun.

This is definitely one of my favourites so far. Great idea with a clever theme interpretation. I also really like the unique visual style. Sounds like you have plans to develop the game further which is great - it has lots of potential!

Also I couldn't get the game to work on Firefox but the native build worked.

Looks and sounds great and was fun to play around with. Impressive!

Love the visuals, and the momentum based flying combined with the limited fuel led to some interesting gameplay. Liked the progression system, although it wasn't super obvious to me what each of the upgrades did.

It took me a while to realize that you need to right-click the lines twice for them to connect, but once I figured it out it was a pretty neat puzzle. Also I liked the main menu.

Thanks! Yeah, having some kind of reference where you could look up the different reactions was something I wanted to add, but didn't have the time

Pretty cool. The music was nice. Could do with an easier difficulty though, 90BPM felt way to fast for me (though perhaps I'm just bad at rythm games)

Simple yet satisfying! I liked the unique artstyle. Managed to get 32 on my 4th attempt.

Thanks!

Yeah it's something I considered but I couldn't think of an easy way to do it that didn't break the dynamic soundtrack

Thanks!

Yeah, I added a maximum rotation speed to the turret so that it smoothly rotates, with the idea that maybe rotation speed could be upgradable. Though I never got to that so perhaps it should have just snapped to the mouse.

A cool concept with great execution and level design. Those last two levels were tricky!

Very unique and fun game! I like how time freezes when you stop moving, giving you time to plan your route through the zombies. It would be nice if each level was a checkpoint, as it took me about 8 tries to beat the second level and it got a bit tedious to replay the first level over and over again.

Glad you liked it! I recorded a playthrough and added it to the game page.

I enjoyed this game quite a lot. It had a satisfying gameplay loop and I liked the lighting. One small issue was that I bought the shovel after buying the pickaxe (thinking I could switch between them), which meant I lost the pickaxe upgrade.

I found aiming my shots to be quite difficult and I ran out of mana quite quickly, so I found that the best strategy was to just sprint past the enemies in a zig-zag pattern. I would suggest having the projectiles shoot in the direction of the mouse cursor rather than in the direction the player is facing to make it a little easier. Other than that, I liked the 3D environment and atmosphere of the game.

Wow, such a clever and unique puzzle game! The presentation is fantastic. I especially like how the music evolves as you progress.

I got this error after pressing start (on firefox):

panicked at 'player settings are loaded: NotFound', src/player.rs:83:10

and this error when pressing settings:

panicked at 'player settings to load: NotFound', src/menu.rs:128:10

I managed to fix it by disabling the Privacy Badger extension (which blocks cookies), so that seemed to be the cause of the issue.

Thanks! Yeah, I agree with all your suggestions

Very cool and trippy effects! Especially the last one. The controls are a little floaty in my opinion. It feels like the character is walking on ice. But I guess that's part of the challenge!

No worries! Looks like some players managed to get some insanely high scores already (that even I can't beat!)

Really enjoyed this! Feels very polished and was a lot of fun. Made it to month 16 before my reputation nosedived lol. Seeing all the graphs at the end was a neat touch.

Really like the voxel art style! Micromanaging the ammo for all of the towers was quite fun, and I like how you have to think strategically about where to place the towers in order to not block yourself in.

Wow, the environments look absolutely incredible! Music was great too. Very atmospheric.

Thanks! Yep, the leaderboard is real. It uses the jornet bevy plugin which made it super easy to implement.

Just posted an update that changes the controls to be keyboard only

Thanks, that's great to hear! I'll probably post some updates after the voting period ends to address some common issues and maybe add some new content, so stay tuned!

Thanks for the feedback!

Summon water is used to turn lava into stone, which is how you're supposed to get past the lava with the low ceiling. Didn't know you could get past it with double jump haha.

Also yeah I planned to do something like that for Cloak+Wind but didn't have time.

Thanks! Yeah I planned to have it allow movement through wind currents but didn't have enough time
