Interesting tonal shifts and the vocals really make it stand out.

An exciting piece, a bit like both early and late 1900's classical mixed with Zappa. I especially like the arpeggios around 0:50.

Fun vibes in both versions, especially liked the part starting around 2 minutes culminating in the sax melody in the good version.

Really fun keyless or atonal harmonies, at points I struggled to find a harmonic base which lead to a trippy "floating through space" feeling.

A nice destructured or abstact vibe in this.

Thanks! I know what you mean, I'm not totally happy with the composition of this and maybe got a little tunnel vision with the melodies.

Thanks for listening, I definitely had a hard time mixing this, a I had some serious ear fatigue from the distortion effects. There's probably a bit too many overlapping instrument and frequencies so it could do with better mixing and simplification. But I'm glad this song was jam piece, otherwise I would have tried to hone it for maybe year and never release it :D

Thank you so much! I was really trying to focus in on maximizing tension in this track

Thank you! Really wanted to cumulatively add drones and harmonies to cause a pressuring or smothering feeling the end.

For the genre this is just something to listen to when you're praising the great Cthultu at service or at home. Maybe gregorian + eldritch horrors, so R'lyehian chants?

Really bold melodies and harmonies, love it. The outro especially shows the genre mashup really well.

Nice layers of polyrhythms and the "harsh" space sounds are actually very pleasant to listen to. I can imagine astrologists jamming in the their lab, listening to this transmission from space from their headphones.

Thanks! :D

Thanks for playing! And holy moly, you nailed it

Thank you! The jam was quite short so I ran out of time implementing the game loop and it ended up quite janky :D

Thanks!

Awesome background music, reminds me of Harvey Sutherland.

Great game feel and polish, seems already like a commercial game. And very villainous also.

I really enjoyed this! Having to react to the changing room layout under time pressure seemed was a fun mechanic

Was laughing all the way through, peak slapping action

This game feels very refined or subtle in a way. Good stuff!

Thanks for the feedback! I think you found a bug that crashed the game, sorry about that. Would be better if the game had autosave, so you could just continue from where the game crashed.

Thanks for playing! Yep it think controlling both would be the next development for this game. I started with the inactive one automatically following the controlled one, but it didn't fit the game, so I changed it to like it is now where you only control one of them at a time.

Right, sounds like I bungled the packaging process. It was my first time releasing a love2d exe, so  figures it would happen. I dowloaded the game exe from itch and tested it multiple times on my machine, but probably because I have love2d globally installed, I was able to run it without the missing dll issue. Insult to injury I don't think I can fix it, since participants can't edit submissions during the revision process.

But thanks for helping, and I'm especially grateful that you went through the trouble and played the game!

Ok, thank you for letting me know! I'll have to look into it

Uh oh, is it the unsigned exe "Unknown publisher" Windows Defender issue?
