Love it, the art is super charming and everything from the movement to the visual feedback feels great. I tend to get very greedy trying to graze everything hah, very satisfying sense of risk/reward. Great job!!
Nice job! I like the mechanic of earning points by playing risky. Short but enjoyable.
What a great concept and game! Simple, well executed and does exactly what it intends. This was well-scoped for an enjoyable game in a short game jam like this; fantastic work!
Thank you very much!
Simple yet fun. I think I have a skill issue cuz I couldn't beat it. I did make it to 7 seconds left tho. The addition of the near miss system adds a lot to the simple formula. Being able to aim for a high score adds some replayability as well.
My one gripe is that you have to listen to the dialog every single time. Thankfully it can be skipped quickly, but seeing it no matter how many times I retried was mildly annoying.
Good game!
Its super fun hahahha, I like the art and the audio, the idea is great too and the gaze mechanic you implemented for the risky players, gives a fair shoot of dopamine
This was loads of fun, super intense but really fun! I managed to make it just over a minute and cracked a score of about 2k but I will definitely be coming back to this one, for sure!
Awesome :) thank you.
Super addictive gameplay and a really fun, quick arcade experience. The pixel art looks great despite its simplicity; the dithering is used really well. The sound effects are crisp, the music rules, and the high-risk, high-reward near-miss scoring is a great hook. This one’s hard to put down.
I liked it. It was fun, had good player feedback, and was fun to go for a high score. I liked the pixel art and music.
very fun game ! super enjoyable, it feels great to control and the sounds + music is just perfect - very cohesive. it is easy to understand, self explanatory! really impressive to achieve that in a short jam :))
I loved this! The pixel art for the lil jumper is so cute. The near miss scoring mechanic is great, brings me back to the Burnout games. Having clear visual indicators telling you how much risk you can take without dying is really nice. I had a lot of fun trying to make it to the end. Some runs I focused on score, others on just surviving. Great work!
Huge Praise! Thank you mate :)
For some reason my browser doesn't load this game so i dunno¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thats weird, do you mind sharing which browser you're using?
I'm using google chrome, i just don't know whats wrong
I've got the same issue, using an ancient version of Safari
Give this a shot, might work, if not i'll have to look into it more deeply for a post jam bugfix.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

It worked. Cool game
I like that mechanic, with near misses. It isn't new or original, but it's implemented very well and that is a very hard thing to do sometimes
we LOVE grazing as a gameplay mechanic, I got hooked for a minute there, and the charming art helped too - big fan of the alien lookin dude that gives the tutorial, and i'm a sucker for dithered gradients :D
input delay made it a bit tougher to enjoy the gameplay, and there weren't really any "powerups" to speak of, but the basic gameplay concept scratched a nice itch for me
here's a ( silent ) recording of my experience w/it:
Thanks for playing, stopping by and sharing footage! I'm happy that you enjoyed the grazing mechanic and the artwork.
As far as i was aware the theme of powerups was more inspirational and didn't need to be strictly abided by, (as per the jams description). I interpreted the mandatory limitation of "ridiculously overpowered" as a dudes first jump being insanely powerful and never ending, though I admit this can be somewhat lost in translation during gameplay.
Also I'm not really sure where input delay is coming from, I'll have to look into that for the post jam patch, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Very fun and captivating game. I played it for half an hour trying to get to the end of the 2 minute timer to see what would happen. The concept is basic, but really fun. I did not understand your use of the limitation, but the game had great art and music. So much fun!
I'm glad you had fun :) I was hoping the implementation would be less vague. Another friend mentioned he had a hard time reading it too earlier on today. Whats your current high score out of interest?
