Welcome to ISKCON
Our 60th Anniversary
Established in 1966, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), popularly known as the Hare Krishna Movement, has shared the transformative practice of bhakti-yoga with millions around the world. We are a vibrant, global spiritual community rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom. ISKCON is guided by the teachings and example of our Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada came to New York in 1965 at the age of 70 with a mission: to share the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita and the practice of loving devotion to Lord Krishna with the world.

Mission & Vision
ISKCON envisions a world where spiritual life is not separate from daily life, but is its very foundation. Our mission is to awaken the natural devotion within every soul by creating opportunities to connect with Krishna through philosophy, culture, community, and service. We seek to build a society rooted in spiritual values—where harmony with nature, respect for all beings, and inner fulfillment are not ideals, but everyday realities. Guided by the teachings of Lord Krishna and our Founder-Acharya Srila Prabhupada, we aim to inspire hearts and transform lives—locally and globally.

Global Impact
Our temples are more than buildings—they are homes of joy, devotion, learning, and peace. We welcome you to visit, join a festival, take a tour, enjoy a meal, and experience Krishna consciousness for yourself.
