Ulfa’s Summer of Blood XIV doesn’t seem to be much of a thing here on tumblr, but I wanted to share these “poster” gposes I made for the two-day PVP bloodfest. I have the versions with text over on bsky, but I thought I’d share these without that text.

I had a lot of fun, even though the COVID still has me a little bit drained. Last week, I only managed to get two matches in before I had to tap out; yesterday, I played nearly the whole four hours. 🪶

A little late for Butch Appreciation Day, but please have this Lia headshot anyway. Exploring her butch identity from a Chinese POV has been really meaningful on different levels.

“Butch” is pretty distinct to American queer history and culture, and logic dictates that other nations (particularly where English may not be the dominant language) have their own unique identities that are born from their experiences and sensibilities.

In Chinese, the 鐵T or “IronT” identity is a close equivalent to stone butch, and that’s where I’ve placed Lia.
