I have Making Money!

I haven't read it yet, because I had to finish the website I promised [livejournal.com profile] amurderofcrows, and icons for [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh's parents weekend (and a plot character for that game - what's the Fandom equivalent of an OOM - OOF? Also, apparently I now have more Heroes characters than active Discworld ones. Huh.)

The signing was great: met up with [livejournal.com profile] sumerianhaze for queuing fun. Because we were in the first 20 or so, Pterry was in a good mood when we got to him. He didn't comment on my first edition Interesting Times, which was a shame, but still, it was nice. :)

Then there was Wagamama's, with lots of sake and delicious plum wine. And Daniel picked up the tab because he's luvly beyond belief, and is presumably hoping that when I get a job I'll actually stand my round, or something.

Picked up Runaways #28, read it, cried a little, came home.

Now I'm finally cooking my dinner >_>

How are you?

Shame to have missed it, but Jennie 'suggested' I travel down tomorrow instead.

How are you?

Under a Facebook spam warning, too many messages today for some unknown reason...

You say that one? Weirdest allegation ever. Unfortunately Ian deleted the thread that was copy/pasted and changed, so I can't go back and dig what I actually said.

Dictator Mat. Nah, not for me...

Yeah, I'm letting others do the group admin on Fb, and we'll have to do a members cull of the group—Ryan did say he was happy for people from CR to join OKT while we had no plan, and as far I can see OKT should remain as a sub group anyway, but that's not my call.

Still, 71 members in less than 6 hours, not bad, shows there's interest.

Grah! Do me a favour, say hi to this guy, point him at the acreage threads, and tell him I've given the guy a slapping, I can't risk posting as I'm getting a spam warning whenever I hit reply :-(

It was sending out two messages to all group memebers, one of them with a link I've also posted elsewhere :-(

Fighting my way through Bleak House, and trying to remember what it was like to be turning the page, can't wait for the next chapter kind of interest in fiction. Wish I could've come to the signing with you!

Hey!

Glad you had a good time at the signing. What was he like? I've only ever been to one book signing and that was by Jasper Fforde - in which he spoke humorously and read extracts from his latest book.
