I hate the like, modern tiktokification of CAPTIONS. Flashing one word at a time super quickly, usually with some annoying bouncy effect on each word. Put the entire goddamn sentence (or appropriate chunk of the sentence) on the screen and let me read.

And also whatever technology they're using to auto-generate them has a very weak grasp on the concept of 'homophones'

i can handle a kinda bouncy sentence or two as long as they arent a crazy fast speaker and as long as there arent 500 sound effects happening at the same time but captions that are one word at a time make me instantly click off a video do not care what you had to say. it is not important enough

oh my god i wanna print these out and stick them all over my cork board so bad why have i never considered making little stamps........ ive always wanted to make those little eraser stamps but could never think of what to try first. now i wanna make postage stamps seems like a really fun exercise coldplay (also if you want this to be even you could add the blue room ep!)
