1. To be associated, cooperating, or working with someone. I don't want my kids to be involved with such ruffians! There are suspicions that the politician is involved with several organized crime figures. I wouldn't get involved with him, he seems to cause trouble wherever he goes.
2. To be in a romantic or sexual relationship with someone, especially one that is tenuous or uncertain. A: "Are you dating anyone right now?" B: "Well, I'm kind of involved with a woman I met online, but I don't know if it's going anywhere." She's been involved with a man from her office who is married to one of the directors of the company. A: "Oh, I thought you were involved with Brandon because you guys spend so much time together." B: "Goodness no, we're just friends!"
